Telisma’s Hat trick at Vocal Expo

teliSpeech wins Best Product Award… and both the Best Service and Special Jury awards feature telisma's ASR

  


On the 20th June in Paris, VocalExpo brought together the key European players of the speech ecosystem – companies, phone operators, IVR providers, hosting companies, integrators, software editors, etc. VocalExpo more precisely focused on how and how-much speech technologies increase clients’ satisfaction with regard to phone services and aimed at raising market’s awareness.

Three trophies were awarded at the end of the day: Best Service, Best Application, Special Jury. The awards distinguish the teams which best contributed to improve speech technologies and to increase the quality of the Customer Relation.
 
TeliSpeech wins the Best Application Trophy
Telisma’s speech recognition solution has been prized both for the intrinsic performances of its engine, the quality of its Quality of Service tools, its simplicity of use and integration and its capacity to answer the market’s needs today and tomorrow.
 
Member of the Jury Laurent Deslandres states:
teliSpeech imposed itself at several levels: above all, I appreciate the high performances of this world class technology. The engine is particularly efficient in dealing with noisy environments and mobile situations, which is critical for most services today. It is very flexible in terms of usage and has significantly helped reduce creation and development times for new vocal applications. Its large scale deployments for many mass market services are also very reassuring and testify for the robustness and the technological maturity of the technology. Globally, I believe this is a very much deserved award!”
 
Philippe Poux, the organiser of Vocal Expo further explains:

Experts also appreciated the technology’s scalability, its short and long range innovative potential and the control of quality of services it offers”

TeliSpeech is also associated to the Best Service and Special Jury awards!
The Best Service award was awarded to Darty, the #1 French supplier of leader store domestic appliances and electronics, which runs more than 200 stores and built its success upon a very strong culture of after-sales service. The company was awarded the Best Service prize for its new customer’s centralized phone number that uses teliSpeech vocal command to put clients in contact with the closest technician which correspond to their need.
France Telecom, the national French operator, received the Special Jury award for its automated directory assistance service, the only one in France, that gives the phone number of any subscriber in seconds by simply giving it its name and address. This automated directory assistant is also able to tell you who a given phone number belongs to! This new service relies upon telisma’s technology.
 
The Jury:
Members of the independent Jury were: Jean Michel Billaut, President of Atelier BNP Paribas, Laurent Deslandres, a consultant at Nexstage, François Giraudon, ECE, Jean Paul Haton, University Professor  and member of the Institut Universitaire de France, Jérôme Pouponnot, CRM journalist, Jean François Susbielle, an international consultant.
