Paris, 17th October 2006: Tetco Technologies, a value added service supplier and telisma, the number 1 in Europe for speech recognition programmes, have announced the signature of a sales and technology partnership. The integration of telisma’s teliSpeech technology in Tetco’s range of multimedia solutions will enable Tetco to create a bridge between the worlds of speech and data, thereby paving the way to a high potential market.
The joint Tetco-telisma solution is now available on the market in “ready to use” solutions. This allows companies to use innovative voice activated services with ease and without requiring any high level speech technology expertise.

The Tetco-telisma solution is already being used by several clients. In particular it has been chosen for the implementation of the EVA solution (Evolutive Virtual Assistance) in the form of a voice activated telephone reception for the French organisation DRIRE (Regional government administrative body for Industry, research and environmental issues). This service is currently being validated in the region of Alsace, and will soon be available in all 23 regions of France. In particular, it allows you to get connected directly with a person or a particular department of the DRIRE, simply by pronouncing their name.
Other joint projects are under way in the flourishing fields of voice steering in telephone voice mail, voice portals and voice activated dialling by using a name.
