rejection
| When an attempt at recognizing some input does not result in an adequately confidant match with any word or phrase in the grammar, the system will return a rejection code. This could result from excessive background noise, disfluent speech, or the user saying something which was not covered by the grammar. Good dialog designs have error recovery strategies for such situations, e.g. re-prompting the user with more information about valid inputs.
