| voiceXML
| VoiceXML is a high-level language for creating speech interfaces which integrate speech recognition technologies for user input and pre-recorded and/or text to speech audio for output. This language is the result of an agreement between speech technology leaders for the adoption of a universal standard for internet-based speech applications. VoiceXML was accepted as the basis for the development of a standard by the W3C in May 2000 after submission by the VoiceXML Forum, which is an organization of over 500 companies and of which Telisma is a very active promoter.
