As part of the technical support team, you will provide technical assistance on usage of telisma speech recognition products and services to our partners and end-customers.
 
You will be responsible for characterizing problems reported by customers, assessing appropriate technical solutions with the help of our development teams and resolving customer problems.
 
You will report to the Technical Support Manager.

Your duties will include:

  • respond to customers and partners’ requests sent to telisma support e-mail and ensure follow-up and escalation

  • reproduce and fix telisma software and installation procedures with support from development team, then share solutions in a common repository

  • help partners install, integrate, configure and use telisma products

  • help partners certify interoperability of telisma products with their solutions;
    Deliver software releases and patches

  • deliver remote or on-site training to partners and customers on telisma products and tools

  • take part in writing support documents for training sessions

  • evolve technical support infrastructure and processes, in cooperation with the Team Manager.

Telisma is working to develop its support services for its Indian and APAC customers, therefore fluency in both English and Hindi is required, one additional Indian or Asian language would be desirable.

 required skills


  • C/C++ languages; Object methodology
  • Java, JSP, HTML, pHp languages; web applications development methodology
  • systems: Windows, UNIX
  • speechs standards: VoiceXML/MRCP/SRGS/SISR/NLSML/SIP/RTP/RTSP
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Hindi, and ideally a third language
  • understanding of software, technology and standards related to real-time speech recognition, primarily on telisma products
  • understanding of the telecom networks architectures and telecom ecosystem.Strong presentation skills
  • team spirit and a contributor

  • proficiency in scripts: Unix-like shell, Windows-shell, Tcl, Perl
